Added Haole Fats & News Reel

I think that Haole Fats' blog is quite entertaining. He hasn't been at low-carb for long but it appears that he's starting off on the right track. Hopefully he'll stick with it so that we can continue reading his posts.

I have also added a news reel to the bottom of the screen. It displays news headlines relating to low-carb lifestyles.

Refreshing the Feed List

If you are a frequent visitor to this site and you use Internet explorer, you may not be looking at the most recent list of articles. To force the feed lists to refresh, hold down the CTRL key and click on the browser's "Refresh" button (looks like a green recycle emblem). This will force your computer to check for new posts on these blogs.

Refreshing the feeds... browser settings

If using Internet explorer while frequently visiting this web page, you might not always be getting an updated list of recent blog feeds. The problem occurs when you visit this page more frequently than I post or modify this blogger site. As a fix it on your end, do the following.

  1. From the menu bar, select "Tools" then "Internet Options.
  2. Click the "General" tab at the top.
  3. Under the "Browsing History" section, click on the button "Settings".
  4. Under "Check for newer version of stored web pages", click the radial button beside "Every time I visit the web page".
  5. Click "OK" then "OK" again.

If anyone knows an easier fix, preferably one that doesn't require changing users' browser settings, please let me know. Thanks.
